Went to the army open house today cos they invited me though they didn't specify why. But I thought it would be an experience, to learn more about the erm, well, things that I'm going to go through. So of course it was pretty sian to think I was alone, but found someone I knew from Temasek Seminar.
Took a chartered bus over to Pasir Laba camp from Jurong East MRT. I wonder what's wrong with Jurong area. Twice I've been there, twice the bus uncle got lost. Well never mind. Then some captain brought the few of us around the place. Saw many weapons and stuff. The funny thing was the dog was supposed to run through an obstacle course and back, and the last one was a hoop. After once, they set the hoop on fire. So ok, the dog managed to jump through. But refused to the second time. Pretty funny. Run towards the hoop then siam away. 3 times. And urban operation, a cool show on how they invade an invaded building filled with invaders. 2 tanks came out of no where and 'fired' like nobody's business. Trigger-happy kids. Fake explosives went off around the building. Then a helicopter lowered and some dudes went down the ropes into a building. Then from both sides again, smoke grenades were thrown. And I tell you the smoke is alot. Really. Well then they sneaked in and caught them. Yep another funny thing. A kid was skipping happily beside his father and held his hand saying 'Daddy hold hands!' Then the father took his hand away and said 'Don't want. Hold hand so sissy.' Then the kid just skipped happily away. Not being mean, but I couldn't help but laugh. Yep that's it. Ok update. Just finished my common tests, chem, bio and biomodelling. Of all, biomodelling was the easiest. Haha its like the only exam with no stress cos its so fun. Looking forward to the 1 week study break next week. Gotta use the time to mug mug and mug though my brain is like set ablaze.
Well, bio today was 11-12pm and the next paper was biomodelling, which totally cannot be studied. And, it was at 4pm-6pm. So went to watch 'Up' at AMK hub with some of my classmates. Very nice show actually, worth the 6 bucks. Heh 6 bucks yo. Bascially, it has a very nice storyline. And it ends with a happy ending. So its worth it. You won't find yourself walking out of the cinema wondering 'Why like that...?' Anyway, went down to riverwalk to eat with the cell group. When suddenly a loud bang from the road kinda welcomed me. Presidential gun salute. Haha then went over to mindcafe for some games. It was quite fun la. Yup. And here I am, at home. Haha off to play mofunzone. Heh

Really really really time flies. Not even a blink of an eye, a term in poly has ended. That's sure fast. And for you JCians out there, its close to half a year of mugging for you. Promos just round the corner. Around the rugged rock, the rascal rabbit ran. Yeah so to encourage you, do your best in everything you do and don't regret! Spend time to reflect and think of what you can do, what you should do. Anything you need to change? Anything you can change? Yeah.

Ok time for an update. Well, on sunday had an outing to Pulau Ubin with the securities. Transformers II. Well, the patriot coy was called Ironhide. So anyway we met at Changi and set off. It was some hardcore leg straining, butt hurting and sun burning journey. Cycling along those rocky paths and stuff and carrying 12 cans of 100plus with my bag with some other stuff, cycling uphill was insane. Whoa I hate those slopes where you go up after much effort, and then you thought there was a downslope which you can just enjoy, it turns out to be another upslope. Then we would just get down and push the bike up. Then cooked our lunch at the beach and using up lots of solid fuels. Then had some beach games and set off for another round of cycling. Ran down the boardwalk and up the viewing tower. It was a very nice view, just that the other teams running up shook the whole tower. Heh so after that we went to return the bikes and just nice, it rained. So thank God for holding the rain back. Haha then went back to Singapore and had some cheers, prize presentations and group pics. Yep.

Here's an update! Haha well, it's been a pretty long time since I've entered poly, and its really stressful. So you guys out there who think poly is slack, think again. Really. Think again. Anyway, I think I'm coping well in biomed eng, thanks to cat high's hardcore pumping. Haha but its just that now it all depends on you. Tried joining student union today, so I hope I can get in. Heh...

I realised many people out there are struggling to get through life. I mean, to find a purpose in living, a purpose in this 'suffering' that they are going through, be it studies, relationship problems and stuff like that. Well, all I can say is that its temporary. It is here for a reason- to mould and shape your character. Because our life here is temporary, and its a 'training ground' for us to mould our character, becoming strong in God and stuff.

Because only through these times we truely depend and trust God totally. Its like you hanging from a cliff on a twig. What do you do? Call out to God. Its the same thing. You don't pray for help when everything is all smooth-going. Its part of God's pruning. Its pain. But what are the fruits? More than you can ever dream or imagine. What Pastor Tan said really touched my heart. After every winter comes a spring. After every death comes resurrection. When we fail at something, we don't shun it. We go back to it, overcome it and move on. When God leads us to a little journey, He will surely empower you to finish it. But, it will be tough, it will be hard. Why? To train us up. Why would God put you in a journey He knows you can accomplish easily as a test? We don't stay stagnant. We keep growing. We move from glory to glory. That, is the purpose. The joy of the Lord is our strength.

ROOAARRR! Maha ok just an update ya? Started poly 3 weeks ago. Well, orietation was quite retarded since we didn't know each other. Not even one person I knew in the whole damn lecture theatre. But after that managed to make some friends so its cool. Anyway my course is not a slacky slacky course. Biomedical engineering. Whaddaya expect? 1+1? No. Hell no. Haha its like triple science, maths and blah blah blah. So many lectures but so little tutorials. Always have to ask the lecturer before he leaves so that can understand stuff. And the breaks are so erratic. A 3 hour break here, a 1 hour break here and sometimes no break at all. So its quite screwed up. Anyway, I just wanna really do well in this course so that I can go into a good uni. Probably NUS? Haha and scholarship too! Heh. Money money. Yup.

Hello. Went to do the 3rd video with szeto and this time with sng. Pretty cool stuff, but this time more of story than fighting. So whatever. Then we played in the primary school hall with all the mats and the jumping board thing. Played till we were all sweaty and stuff and we were damn scared when a teacher and some students walked in since it was still school time. So we quickly put back the stuff and went off. Heh. Alright, shall blog abit. Finished the evangelism explosion camp on wed, which was really good because it just refreshes you. Though yea you have to wake up early and go home alittle late, its just all worth it. It's my first time staying in the church building for such a long time. Haha. Hokay. These few days I've been giving tuition and helping my teacher with some admin stuff. Yes it is quite boring. Or rather, very boring. But well, I have to do these stuff to keep my mind running. Now I have to do some weird enrollment stuff for admission to poly which I don't feel like doing at all. And the fees are ex man. EXPENSIVE. So screw it. Well anyway, if you need tuition, can come look for me. I can't guarantee I remember everything but of course I will do my best.

Well, once upon a time where there was no time, people ate time-out. So, there was this cowboy who movedto the city and reared cows. One night, he walked down a dark, narrow ally (I love ally stories). It had a stench of oxidised alcohol. Well, he walked down the ally with his hands in his pockets, his big straw hat tilted down. Then, he saw a group of people playing cards further down. Having no friends around, he went forward without thinking. "Howdy folks! Howya doin tonight?" he asked. Everyone gave him a hard cold stare and beat him up. Echoes of his shouts went through the entire ally. Soon, he died. However, someone unexpected came! It was batman! But he just said "Hi. Bye." The end

Ok I just recovered abit from a big fat fever and still having a little headache. It causes you not to be able to do anything but rot on your bed, like some useless thing. Not able to go out, standing up would give a sharp pain in your head and stuff like that. But whatever. Anyway ok I try to make a stupid story ok?

"Little red riding hood! Since you're not riding a hood, I'm going to eat you up!" It dashed towards the little hood. However, when it turned around, it was a man! But the wolf ate him up anyway. The end.

Okie kokie. Got into NYP biomedical engineering. Thank God because its my 1st choice! Yep anyway yesterday went to mrs tan's house for class bbq at the florida. Well, expected many, but only a few came. But anyway, went over and took the stuff down, started fire, talked cock. Started playing cards and eating. Robin and his stupid lime concentrate screwed the whole drink up. Sweet and sour drink. So, after that we went to dunk paris chia by luring him to the pool for a photo. After which came linde. Haha what a plot. Used junny as bait, brought him to the poolside and dunked linde. LOL. Then ran from her son who was running around splashing water at everyone. Some thrilling exercise after eating. Then all went home. Yup.

Ok here's a challenge for you. If you can watch this without laughing or feeling its retarded, and to listen to this whole thing, you're good. But of course, I laugh so hard at the song and the singing. LOL i think your ears can't take the it.

Open Houses

Hello there, went to some open houses with szeto and marc chong. First met up with terence then went to AJC to take a look at JC life. Well the people are friendly, but we got pretty irritated when they started pulling us into every single booth. But they were nice people so we just showed them some face and went off. Saw some seniors and talked to them abit.

Then went to NYP for lunch since the canteen at AJ wasn't really appealing. So went to NY which was really some high tech school with all the escalators all around. It was a nice building with friendly people also. But I guess its hard for them to differenciate a student at NY and a open house visitor. Haha then met up with marcus and went into NY again. Talked to some people about the courses and we went exploring the whole place ourselves. Went to their project place and saw some really nice works. Like cool clay figures and drawings. Yea then explored into some videoing facility. I forgot what its called but I think its the green curtain or something like that.

Yea then went to SP by MRT. Quite an old school but big. Really big. Marc met up with his friends there so me and szeto went exploring first. Talked to some lecturers and students. After which of course we got kind of lost since we went around exploring. HAHA. Then terence went around collecting stuff and met this weird man who acted like some wise man. Lol we tried to go away then he was like 'don't go yet!' Haha quite a fruitful trip.

Oh sorry bout that. After this post I'll just make some space so that you can see the links and tagboard. I guess I have to do that when I post a video ya? Anyway, who's going back to school? NOT ME! HAHA yay. 1 more month of holiday! Well the new year's coming. Looking back, 2008 was a great year. 1 to remember. So many days, 365, but only a few a remembered ya? Hello there. Time is flying once again. Or rather I just realised it again. Well, I can't wait for Christmas! Haha its just so exciting.. Anyway, went to George the jungleman's house on Friday, with terence and jaws. We kinda froze during the ride cos george was being as cold as always on the journey.
His house was seriously big. Like BIG. Swimming pool? Bamboo garden? Glass stuff around? And lots of weird stuff, as expected from a george. Chemicals, katanas, shurikens, bows and arrows and lots of rubbish all around.
Anyway me and szeto did some stupid videos with all the weapons. Haha was really retarded. Then had some hardcore lunch with almost everything fried. Fried prawns, fried chicken wing, fried rice. Along with it was some veg and a pizza. Then we went swimming. George lent me his track and field pants cos I didn't bring my swimming trunks. So gay la its like a few cm short only. Then we were so bored we started throwing a water bottle filled with water and trying to find it without goggles. LOL. Then went home and went for emerge night or emerge youth or whatever its called now I kinda forgot. Yup.

Ok. Back from SJ camp and was super slack for us. Went there at 8 when we were supposed to be there at 9. Missed an hour of sleep la. Well anyway we played among ourselves, bball, spam piano, blah blah blah. Then went for some lesson with the juniors which was totally boring so we decided to play among ourselves by playing a stupid game by terence when in the end it seemed like only me and him were playing. See who dare to shout a certain word louder than the other. So then went over to Jln betarah I think its spelt like that I can't remember. Well so we had to sleep in the same bunk with the juniors and we petitioned. And yay we were allowed to sleep in some weird gathering hall. But in the end it was being used by other campers with females so can't sleep there. So we slept on the canteen benches. Then had to gather at like 1am or so for some stupid night walk which was totally meaningless. I didn't even know it was a night hike so I wore my slippers. And I got owned by the stupid track which had so many holes and it was rocky. Gave me blisters. Wtf. The worst thing was we had to be blindfolded. I'm sure the whole world agrees it was stupid. The next day I woke up to see some lizard poo beside my face. Thank God not on me. Then came belaying. Had to go through the boring belaying lesson again and soon we started belaying under the scorching sun. For I forgot how long but was quite long. A few hours? Burnt me man. So after that we had lunch and charlton and I went off! HAHA that was the most looked forward event for the camp. We packed our load of rubbish and walked off. It was a long road out though, may take about 45 mins to reach outside? Not forgetting our stuff. So we embarked on our journey out with wet towels over our necks to prevent sunburn. After walking for about 5 to 10 mins 2 malay dudes driving a van picked us up to send us out. So nice of them ya? Then took bus to CCK MRT to Bishan and took a bus home. On the way we talked alot of rubbish and kept talking about how happy we were to leave camp. Haha well that's about all for the camp. Went back to school to celebrate Terence birthday on Sunday. They ordered pizza and Terence as usual was being retarded by calling himself Mr Dalermehndi and with a stupid accent. Well still they sent the pizzas. Yup that's it.

Back from the Asia Conference 2008. It was from Wednesday to Sunday with 10 sessions in all and many other electives. A pity I only went for one but I'm just gonna get someone's notebook or something to copy. Lol. Yea anyway it was alot about the cultural mandate and stuff, everything was just powerful. But of course, it was sure tiring. But its worth it la. Messages were impactful, songs were meaningful and nice. Oh not forgetting the record number of mentos I ate. Had to la although I got really sick of the taste. First, I was hungry while serving. Second, I was sleepy. Third is not important but I was bored so I decided to pop something in my mouth. Mentos Xreme. LOL

ALRIGHT KIDS I'M BACK! heh finally the O levels are over. so much of mugging the whole day, staying in school till night, almost got owned by spikes on the school wall cos we stayed till quite late and the gate was locked. So I decided to climb over. Luckily some caretaker shouted at me about the spikes. Heh. So he opened the gate for me and whoop. I'm out! Well its been a great experience of hardcoring my studies. Now that I've nothing to study, I'm actually quite bored. So I went with terence to Bishan gym to workout abit and after months of no exercise, I've degenerated like mad. And the people there are so big sized so when you're there you are like some noobsauce. Well after that we went to eat and started calling people to go their house but none were free. Met iceman er i mean ck at J8 and so we tagged along with him to his house. Then we slacked at his house and I'm now at home.

alright hello. its been a very short while since i have posted ya? Ok its the holidays. YAY! I mean, yay... yes yes like everybody says its back to school again. so i shant rant on about going back to school everyday. But it was fun la, like everyday going back to school and then end up playing basketball after remidials. Anyway today we took like alot of random pictures with royston's camera. Hello there, it's the holidays! Well, yesterday while many were either having exams or school, my class went for an outing at sentosa. Though only Almeric, Royston, Pang, Linde, Linus, Shi, Junny, Aric, Kai Yin and Manfred came, it was great fun. Met up with Aric Almeric Pang Roy Junny at bishan mrt. Took the whatever you call it to sentosa. Walk to the beach. Almeric went sun tanning at first but we managed to pull him to join us. We played touch rugby and it was the no shirt vs shirt. Me aric almeric and royston one team (no shirt) and the rest the other team. Everyone was feeling hot so we went down to the sea to float around. Then we played sea monkey. Totally impossible to catch the ball. Posed alot for the camera, will put them up when royston uploads them. Buried almeric pang ky and aric. then packed up bathed and went to vivo to eat. went to macs and i bought a happy meal. haha weird toy. kung fu panda master or something. LOL. but it wasnt enough i feel. Er, then took mrt to potong pasir then waited for 13 which took forever to come. haha anyway 13 came along after like a whole load of 147 coming along. BUT pang and the rest refused to board it. What's with them la. So we waited for the next 13 which came like 7 mins. Still no seats for everyone what...anyway got sunburnt on my whole body. But it was fun la. Will post the pics soon!
