ok back from hospital attachment. not finally. haha was pretty fun but at the same time boring. did with charlton and nick at changi general hospital ward 37. 7th lvl. haha along with us at ward 47 were jp bear and kh. yea so the 1st day was quite weird cos we didnt noe anyone there so we pretty much kept to ourselves but had an intro around. hardcore boring. 2nd day was better, talked to some dudes there. got some senior nurses and enrolled nurses and some student nurses. from NYP and ITE. one ITE dude was quite joker and kinda brightened up the place or something. patients also nice (some) haha sometimes talking to us. BUT some are super kp. not only patients. family members. this particular family was kping us all the way. or rather, me. they were like asking us 'are u volunteers?' 'are you all medical students?' 'are u all from st andrew's?' 'what is st johns?' 'why are u here?' and a whole sht load of rubbish. i was bombed with questions when this nurse charlene told me to put the medicine in the drawer. ask me all about how to apply medicine and scold me for not knowing how to use medicine but giving the medicine. i mean what la? haha then from then i didnt walk past tht cubicle. or as somebody says, tht cubicle'S'. haha ward 37 dudes should know. also got this old 103 yr old man there, and he was so sick la. then they were taking his temperature and it read 34 deg. so this malay nurse came and pressed it so hard till the man pinched her. and it was kinda his 1st move i ever saw during the whole attachment. and then, she cursed 'ji beh'. wth la. anyway yea knew quite a couple of nursing students. and they were quite nice and taught us many things. like blood pressure and glucose monitoring all these. quite cool. then on thursday they left at 3 when our shift was till 6. so it was SUPER boring. haha so we hanged around at the canteen taking pics with a stolen lewis phone. haha lots of random pics deleted by him of cos. it was quite a nice place, explored quite abit during our break. yup. if had a chance i would go again but with some interesting ppl which i was lucky to have this time. haha and they copied alot of my trademarks. haha. seriously? im sure. haha
